Dr. Stephanie Sfiroudis, DDS, graduated with academic excellence at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine with a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study of Periodontics and a Masters in Oral Biology. She was recognized for astonishing clinical distinctions, receiving the Blasco C. Gomes Award, the Quintessence Award, and Dental Implant Student Award. Prior to dental school, Dr. Sfiroudis achieved the highest GPA, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a Minors of Chemistry and Philosophy of Science.

Upon entering dental school, Dr. Sfiroudis did not innately know that she wanted to be a periodontist. However, she has always had a penchant for art and communication. Therefore, this specialty found her as she excelled throughout her periodontics clinical and didactic. She was continuously intrigued by the idea of seeing patients for multiple visits. This blossomed into her passion for establishing a professional relationship with patients while ensuring their comfortability in accepting their diagnoses and recommended treatment.
